Restylane® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne
Restylane® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne are the 2 newest additions to the Restylane® family of products. Refyne and Defyne are made of the same essential building blocks as the other Restylane products (Restylane-L, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft) but are engineered in such a way so that they are more elastic and less stiff after injection. This makes these products particularly good for use around the mouth due to the amount of movement that takes place in this area of our faces during the course of a normal day. Studies have shown use of Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne can produce a more natural look in this area. These products are also sometimes used in the tear trough region with great success. Our practice was amongst the first to obtain experience with these exciting new products. During your consultation Dr. Biesman or Molly Katz, RN will recommend the products most likely to give you the best overall result.
