liquid facelift Nashville

With the passage of time, our face undergoes changes in both the quantity and position of soft tissues. In short, we deflate and sag! These changes give us an older, tired appearance. An injectable procedure commonly called a “liquid facelift” can correct these changes in a subtle and elegant way by restoring a fresh and rejuvenated look.

What is a liquid facelift?

The term liquid facelift refers to a restorative procedure utilizing injectable fillers to facial areas affected by age-related volume loss. During the consultation, Dr. Biesman or Molly Katz, RN, CANS will customize a treatment plan to meet each patient’s specific needs. A liquid facelift procedure is performed in the office without sedation or anesthesia. The procedure itself involves strategic placement of fillers to produce a natural, relaxed, refreshed, and youthful appearance. There is very little discomfort after a liquid facelift procedure, although some swelling and/or bruising may occur. If you do develop bruising, please contact our office so we can arrange for a complimentary laser treatment to help the bruise resolve more quickly.

What is the difference between a liquid facelift and a surgical facelift?

A liquid facelift and a surgical facelift are complementary procedures. A liquid facelift restores lost volume and improves facial contour while a surgical lift re-suspends tissues that have lost the battle with gravity and/or are present in excess quantity. As each procedure accomplishes different goals, one is not superior to the other.
