Restylane Lyft differs from Restylane and Restylane Silk in that it is composed of larger sized HA particles which make it better suited for correction of volume and deep folds as opposed to superficial, fine lines. Restylane Lyft is often used in conjunction with other products that are best suited for more superficial use in order to achieve best outcomes.
- The duration of effect of Restylane Lyft is similar to other HA products. When correcting volume, a larger quantity of product may be required at the time of the initial injection depending on the patient’s needs or goals. Moving forward touchup injections involving smaller quantities are typically all that is required. The frequency of touchup injections varies depending on the patient and the area in which the product is injected but touch up treatments of Restylane Lyft are typically required after 9-12 months.
- Greater Lift: For a given amount of material, Restylane Lyft produces greater lift than Juvederm or Restylane and is used when significant volume restoration is needed.
- Administered via Injection: Like Restylane and Juvederm, Restylane Lyft is administered via injection. Should bruising occur following injection, complimentary laser treatment is available to help the bruises disappear more quickly.
- Anesthesia: The same anesthetic methods and precautions taken when injecting Restylane, Voluma, Radiesse, Juvederm and other fillers are used when administering Restylane Lyft.
