Restylane Silk® is a hyaluronic acid based injectable filler which features a very small particle size, making it smooth and soft. These properties make Restylane Silk well-suited for use in delicate areas such as the lips and superficial lines around the mouth and on the cheeks.
Like other HA fillers, Restylane Silk is administered via injection. Bruising and swelling can occur after injection. The relative likelihood of this depends on the location the product is placed, the volume of product used, and a variety of other factors including use of blood thinners. Should bruising occur after your injections, simply contact our office and we will arrange to treat your bruising with a laser that will help discoloration resolve more quickly.
